Mission Interface Module(MIM)
Tasks Involved:
- Specification, architecture, design, parts selection, board
layout, FPGA design and simulation and module test.
- Two FPGA designs: XILINX and Lattice.
- VME and PCI digital Interfaces
- Analog, Synchro and Discrete interfaces
Weapons Interface Module (WIM)
Tasks Involved:
- Specification, architecture, design, parts selection, board
layout, FPGA design and simulation and module test.
- Two FPGA designs: XILINX and Lattice.
- VME and PCI digital Interfaces.
- Analog, Synchro, Discrete and Special weapons interface.
- Printed circuit board design, fabricate, assemble and test four
(4) prototypes.
Helmet Mounted Display Interface Module (HMDIM)
Tasks Involved:
- The HMDIM accepts symbology from a graphics processor and
converts it for display on an Integrated Helmet Display and
Sighting System (IHDSS). The module also interfaces to dual Image
Intensified Cameras.
- High speed video processing.
- Specification, architecture, design, parts selection, board
layout, FPGA design and simulation, Printed circuit board design,
fabricate, assemble and test one prototype.
- Six (6) unique, high speed (78 MHZ) XILINX FPGA designs.
- VME and PCI digital Interfaces.
December 1998 to February 1998
SH60R-CH60/MMH SMFD I/O Module
Tasks Involved:
- Design and fabrication of six (6) Input-Output circuit boards.

High Resolution X-Y Graphics Scan to Raster Scan
Display Converter
Tasks Involved:
- Scan Converter generates a raster output suitable for display
on a 1024 by 768 Active Matrix Liquid Crystal Display.
- Logical Algorithm Generation, Architecture, FPGA (XILINX)
Design and Simulation, Printed Circuit Board Design, Fabrication,
Assembly and Test of one Prototype.
